This vaccine is only useful for registered owners of Rival¬ by Microseeds Publishing! Although vaccines are distributed free of charge, Rival is a commercial program!
GARFIELD VACCINE 5/25/90
Instructions for installing the new vaccine:
1. Pull down the Apple menu and choose Control Panel.
2. Click on the Rival icon in the Control Panel window.
3. Click on the Volumes icon in the Rival mode selector.
4. Use Rival's file list to open any volumes or folders necessary to see the name of the vaccine ("Garfield vaccine"). For example, if you put the vaccine in the Downloads folder of your hard disk: double-click on the name of your hard disk in the Rival file list, then double-click on your "Downloads" folder, which contains a file called "Garfield vaccine."
5. Click once to select the file "Garfield vaccine" in the Rival file list.
6. Click the Install button in the Rival window. In about 15 seconds, Rival will enter Vaccine mode, and you can see that Garfield is now included in the vaccines list. Double-click on the Garfield vaccine in the Vaccines list to read about the virus and its effects.
7. You should now restart your machine, so that Rival's automatic protection will be able to detect the presence of the Garfield virus, if it exists.
